Is it real or fact silver what does Sterling mean.?

I have a cross round charm and the side says LGB STERLING It turn black but shines up easily. It about the size of a nickle.


Sterling silver is defined as 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper.
Silver does tarnish, and I wouldn't worry about it.

This is the square "charm" or charm looking thing that is on the band and is possibly sterling silver and removable, but I don't wanna try and remove it. The pic is fuzzy but it looks like a fleur di lys style cross.
