If so, what form of jewelry and what symbols representing what religion how? Also, do you wear it/them where others can see it? Has anybody ever asked about it/them? Any conflict because of them? Just curious.
I myself like to wear a necklace with a dragon claw holding a blue marble at the end. The claw has four toes representing the four elements to me, and the blue marble represents water which is the element of my sign, Scorpio. Also, my Chinese zodiac sign happens to be the dragon. In effect, it represents me and my being Eclectic by borrowing bits from different religions to make a unique religion that works for just me.
I also wear a ring with the Star of David on it representing my Jewish upbringing.
I do wear both where people can see them. I've only been asked once about the necklace. The person was just curious what it was.
I wear a silver greenman pendant on a necklace, where everyone can see it. The greenman (look at my avatar pic) is one of the oldest and most widely spread pagan symbols, present in nearly all the original pagan religions.
Hardly anybody ever pays any attention to it, I guess they just write it off as an ornament or something.
I also carry with me a Mjollner (Or Mjolnir as some people spell it), but I keep it away from sight because nowadays it's somewhat popular to wear one among the stupid kids who think Thor is a cool Marvel character or listen to too much viking metal. I don't want to be mistaken with that lot. Those, to whom my loyalty is important, will know I keep it.

i'm looking for a jewelry website that has unique necklaces of zodiacs (specifically aquarius) and/or (pagan) symbols and/ or religious symbols- other than the major ones like christian, buddha, etc. and/ or deities
type in "pagan jewelry" or "zodiac jewelry"...hit your search button and see what pops up. :-)

Well, I know you've probably heard this question a zillion times, but it's not really helping me because I think my dress code is the strictest ever-and at a public school too! I'm in Australia btw.
At the moment we are in Summer uniform. This is a school dress, white socks, black leather lace up or strap shoes and our ugly school jumper (sweater.) We can't have any jewellery unless it's religious, even then it can't be seen. Hair accessories aren't allowed- everything has to be in dark colours so bright head bands or anything aren't acceptable. (Which is screwed up, since the class next to us can wear them, our teacher is just annoying!) Make up is banned (even though I wear it and just keep it natural) and we can't paint our nails. Can anybody think of ANYTHING to make it a bit more original in ANY way. All my unique-ness and individuality is being sucked away! And I can't break the rules or they'll just confiscate our stuff for 5 weeks or put us in confinement and send us home if it can't be taken off.
Any ideas? I know this is a near impossible question, but any tips at all could help. Thanks.
:)
Hey, I live in Australia too (near Melbourne). Anyway, I go to a private school where the dress code is really strict too. Basically the same as yours. Even though it's strange for your school, because public schools aren't usually strict. I even wanted to move to one to get away from all the rules and everything.
With the shoes, you could probably stretch the rules a bit. We're only allowed to wear black shoes with shoelaces/buckles. Most people wear T-bars. But my friend and I bought these cute black shoes from just a normal shoe shop, kind of like ballet flats except they had a buckle. And that's the trick, because if the shoes have a buckle or laces then you're not breaking any rules, right?
You probably aren't allowed to wear your hair down like our school. But if you want, you can style your hair so that as much as possible is down. Have it half tied up, with pins in place and everything so they can't say it's not tied back.
With the jewellery, there's not much you can do about that. We are only allowed to wear a necklace if it's a cross, so maybe a sparkly cross would be good? If you're religious. Also, if you are allowed to wear a watch (which I'm sure you are) just make it a really big/unique watch.
Nails- get a french manicure (some places do them really cheap) so that your nails look great but they can't really tell you off for nailpoish.
Makeup- Just continue keeping it natural. Foundation, clear lip balm, little bit of bronzer, mascara. And they won't tell you off.
Try to wear a few rings if you can get away with it, just plain gold/silver ones. And a couple of bangles, or just those earthy-material bracelets.
And make your earrings as unique as you can get away with. We are only allowed to wear one piercing, but I still have two in my ears, with small gold hoops earrings and a bigger stud next to them.
Hope I helped!

I'm an old fart- - a father/husband and my wife has everything. She's very sensible. Doesn't want or spend money foolishly. Doesn't have a hobby. She doesn't wear jewelry. She works out of the home. She very religious, loving and caring.
I don't know what to give her any more. Getting her flowers doesn't seem special.
Got a good idea?
Thanks!
This is a good community. Thanks for the ideas. I'm only Level 1, so I can't rate you, but I could I'd give you a Thumbs Up! Well, maybe not King Violation.
Just Level 2- Thumbs Up coming up....
if she is religious, she might appreciate a donation to the churin her name, or to buy something for the church (again in her honor)...you mentioned she works out of the home, maybe hire someone to come in and do total organization? One fail safe idea is having a portrait taken of yourself and children (?)...instead of flowers in a vase...plant a flower garden...
good for you for thinking ahead!
