My Presentation is about the Nürnberger Christkindlesmarkt

The Nürnberger Christkindlesmarkt is one of Germany’s oldest Christmas markets. The origins of the market are unknown however the first written mention of the Christmas market is dated from 1628. An inscription was found on a box, now in the possession of the Germanisches Nationalmuseum, it reads “Sent to Regina Susanna Harβdörfferin by Miss Susanna Eleonora Erbsin on the occasion of the Christmas Market of 1628. Historians assume that the market has its origins in traditional sales on the weekly market between 1610 and 1639 and that it gradually evolved into an independent market. A list from 1737 demonstrates that almost all Nuremburg craftsmen were represented on the market. 140 people were entitled to offer goods for sale.
Towards the end of the 19th century, the Christmas Market became less important and it was held in various different venues within the city. The market was revived in the 1930s with help from the Nazi party and became known as the “Treasure Chest of the German Reich”. In 1933 the Christmas Market was moved back to the Main Market Square and was a much Romanticised event.
During World War II no Christmas markets were held in Nuremburg. In 1948 the Christmas Market was re-established in the Old Town which had been completely destroyed.
The Market is famous for its opening ceremony in which the Market’s Christmas Angel reciets a prologue written by Friedrich Bröger in 1948. From 1948 up until the early 1960s, Nuremberg actress Sofie Keeser played the Christmas Angel. Her successor, Irene Brunner, was also an actress and played the part until 1968. Since 1969, the tradition has been different: every two years a young Nuremberg woman between 16 and 19 years of age is elected as Christmas Angel for a two-year period. First there is an election via internet of a large number of competitors and then a jury chooses the next Christmas Angel out of six finalists.
The market opens its stall for visitors from all over the world, right in the middle of the city on the Nuremburg Main Market Square. At 5.30pm on the Friday before the first Advent Sunday the Christmas Angel opens the Market and by Christmas Eve more than two million visitors from all over the world will have sampled the delights of the Christmas Market.
About 180 wooden stalls, spread with red-and-white cloth, have given the Christmas Market its name of “Little Town from Wood and Cloth”. The stall holders present their traditional goods of Nuremburg spicy gingerbread, fruit loaves, bakery goods and sweets, typical Christmas objects such as Christmas tree angels, cribs, Christmas tree decorations, candles, toys as well as many arts and crafts products. There are many souvenirs to be bought there which include the “Nuremburg Plum People”, little figures made from prunes. Younger visitors can enjoy the Kinderweihnacht where historic steam-powered merry-go-rounds and other activities are waiting for them.
The Market is overseen by the staff of the Market Department and they ensure that the stalls and the market as a whole are enjoyable for everyone by checking what the stalls are going to sell. The market’s stalls t=compete for the most beautiful and tasteful stall design, since 1981 the City has presented an annual award of gold, silver and bronze “Plum People” for the most beautiful stalls.
The Nuremburg Christmas Market is an enchanting market that has a special charm at any time of day and with its traditional image has been the model of many other Christmas Markets.

With that card pool I would make this deck. There are a lot of expensive cards, so the three Druids of the Anima are going to be important to be able to play your big creatures early. This deck is best against slow decks or decks with small creatures.

A lot depends on what decks you play against. So put in a naturalize if you are playing against an artifact deck, etc.

Please tell me what you think of my new series of short fiction prose poems, thanks in advance :)

(these are meant to be random and strange and hopefully charming.)

--------------------------------------...

1. bigger than the sky.

“What do you want to be when you grow up?,” the teacher asked. The kids went around the room answering “Marine Biologist” and “Video Game Designer.” It came to Jude, and he answered quietly. “An angel.” The same answer he’d always given, for his 11 years of life. The other kids laughed at him now, they said angels weren’t real and maybe he could be the tooth fairy instead. Jude smiled sweetly, “There are 12 in the room right now.” His dark blue eyes glittered the whole way to the counselors office.
They found his body in the wreckage with his arms stretched to his sides like wings.

2. with a heart in nantucket.

“Pigeons are the loneliest animals.” She writes on page 392 of her chemistry book.
They peck around asking “who, who?”
‘I don’t know who.” she says, “but I’ll tell you if I find them.”

3. Humans have to sleep because their face would melt if they didn’t.
Their bones would disintegrate into a fine white powder like high grade cocaine and it would be sold in ounces on the street (you could snort your mother or cousin).

4. wishes spread weeds.

There was nothing between them at first. Maybe a piece of dust floating occasionally, like a white puff of a dandelion seed that your brother blew last summer and got in trouble; they spread weeds, your dad had said.
Gradually though, more grew between them. She knew how he felt when he looked at her a certain way, he began to memorize the number of gold flecks in her eyes when she squinted in the sun. She stopped shuffling her feet and looking away when he spoke to her.
He started telling her his dreams of migrating sparrows being electrocuted on telephone lines.

5. I tried to drown myself in the bathtub once.
From under the water music sounded beautiful, like a sunken orchestra. I opened my eyelids so something would be on them when they finally fluttered backwards. Glancing towards the cracked window, with its red orange light of the city outside, I noticed a tiny faded heart in one pane. My mother must have drawn in in the drops of steam that clung to the window that morning, like butterflies trying to escape. Tracing it with her finger, I wonder who she was thinking of.

6. The dead flies on the windowsill called my name.
They begged me to breathe warm air on them and bring them back to life.
“I’m not David Blaine. I’m not a street magician, or Jesus.” I said.
They said they understood and sat on their colorful backs, like puddles of oil in the street. They stayed there, staring at the frozen bricks and hazy street lights. Until, they disintegrated into tiny shells of bodies, their wings so beautiful and perfect you wanted to make earrings out of them. Then, they were gone. There is no fly Heaven or Hell. The have no inner conflict, they just exist to spread disease and make babies in the flesh of dead rabbits crushed in the asphalt.

7. If I swing on a tire does that make it a tire swing? If it was on fire would it be a fire swing?

8. The girl was so light in his arms.
He was afraid she might float away into the exploding sky so he gripped her bones tighter. He ran down the cobblestone streets, checking around the corners of buildings and columns before he continued running, but the were all empty. The trees rustled brokenly and the groaning in their trunks became the mournful song of that night he tries so hard to forget. He hears that song in his dreams now, amid the fragments of memory and blue. It plays on repeat, with the static of a well-worn record.

9. A Ballad to Mike in Accounting:

I love you.

10. “I drew the rose on your shirt.”
she said quietly to the boy sitting in the desk in front of her. She grabbed her books but left the drawing.
“That‘s cool.” he said, but she was already gone.

Listen to Frank Zappa & The Mothers while reading this :)

Also, Simple Guy, don't take it so seriously. They are meant to be quaint. They give you the exact amount of information I intended to give you so you can form the rest of the story in your own mind with your own experiences.
Works of imagination should be written in very plain language; the more purely imaginative they are, the more necessary it is to be plain.

This is one of the strangest posts Ive ever read.
I love it.
the first one especially.

and yes, I read it all and it was worth it.
I love how people cant spare 5 minutes for art these days.

14K White Gold amp; Diamond Angel Charm

First this should not be called a diamond angel charm. There are no diamonds(not even artificial ones) in this pendant. It is just a thin, very small metallic plate in that shape and design. The glow of diamonds they show in the image is only to attract people. The actual pendant is much much smaller than the image they show. I am returning all the jewellery I bought from netaya. The quality of the metal is also not acceptable. I felt I was cheated.
