EAU DE LOURDES is written on one of my rosaries, it is written around a bit of glass that has what I assume is holy water in it.


It means water of Lourdes which is a place where a young girl claims to have seen the Virgin Mary. The water there is said to have healing powers which why many people goes there on pilgrimage.
